BMG have been working with internet matters on the latest wave of research which evaluates and tracks the impact of digital technology on children’s digital wellbeing and family life.

The research was conducted between the 15th September and 1st October 2025. BMG surveyed 1,270 UK children aged between 9 and 16, as well as their parents. This was the fifth wave of research.

Quotas in line with ONS population estimates were put in place to ensure the sample was stratified by each age group, with equal representation of boys and girls at each age. Data was weighted on gender, age, region and Index of Multiple Deprivation, and parent gender.

Tabulated results can be accessed here.
