BMG Research conducted an online poll on Welsh public attitudes towards renewable and non-renewable energy for Renewable UK Cymru.

The research was conducted between the 19th and 24th March 2026 and surveyed a nationally representative sample of 1,001 respondents in Wales, aged 16 and above, ahead of the Senedd election in May 2026.

Weighting was applied based on age group by gender, Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD), Welsh region (North Wales or South Wales), Urban/Rural, and past vote in the 2024 UK General Election.
Renewable UK Cymru have posted a press release on the poll findings which can be accessed here.

Tabulated results for the poll can be accessed here.
