We are thrilled to share that we, together with Internet Matters, are winners of the Market Research Society (MRS) Media Research Award for the Digital Wellbeing Index research programme.
The MRS Awards celebrates the outstanding activities delivered this year across the market and social research sector. The Digital Wellbeing Index tracks changes in children’s online experiences year-on-year and advises those creating digital products, setting policy agenda or educating or parenting children so that they can make informed decisions. Our work provided insights into the challenges that girls face when online and the strategies they use to minimise harm.
The judges of the award emphasised the actionability of the research and its impact:
“Internet Matters and BMG Research managed to provide unparalleled insights into the reality of children’s online behaviour. The research didn’t stop there, though, and the outcomes have worked their way from families all the way up to policymakers.”
